1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok. Quarter the onions and separate into 2 layers. When the oil is hot add onions seeds and sauté lightly.
2. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and sauté for 1 minute. Add onions and sauté till the onions soften.
3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, fennel powder, tamarind paste and jaggery.
4. Add a little water and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
