1. Mix together moong dal, cucumber, carrot, raw mango and coriander leaves in a bowl.
2. Add coconut, lemon juice and salt and mix well. Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add curry leaves, green chillies and asafoetida. Add this tempering to the dal mixture and mix well.
4. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
