1. Combine turmeric powder, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and 2 tsps oil in a bowl.
2. Chop 4-6 curry leaves and mix. Apply this mixture to the fish pieces and keep them in a refrigerator to marinate for 10 minutes.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan. Keep the fish pieces in it in a single layer. Shallow fry, turning sides, a few times to ensure even cooking.
4. Add the remaining curry leaves and cook till both sides of the fish are golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
