1. Heat ghee in a handi. Add green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, cumin seeds, caraway seeds and sauté till fragrant. Finely slice onions and add. Chop garlic and add. Finely chop ginger, add and sauté.
2. When onions turn light brown, add mushrooms and mix well. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and sauté. Add yogurt and mix well. Add 2 cups water and mix well.
3. Add rice and mix well. Add green peas, garam masala powder, salt and mix lightly. Cover and cook till the rice is done.
4. Serve hot.
