1. Heat a non stick pan, add 2 tbsps sugar and let it caramelize. Add ¼ cup water and cook, stirring continuously, till you get a thick golden syrup. Pour into small bowls.
2. Place equal number of jalebis in each bowl. Break eggs into a bowl and whisk them well. While whisking add the remaining sugar, vanilla essence and milk. Mix well and set aside for some time.
3. Heat water in a non stick pan. Pour the egg mixture on the jalebis. Cover the bowls with aluminium foil. Make 3-4 holes in the foil with a knife. Place these bowls in the water, cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
4. Serve hot or cold.
