Heat the oil in a non-stick kadai. Add the cumin seeds and as they begin to change colour, add the onion and green chilli. Sauté till the onion turns light brown.
Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and stir. Add the yogurt and salt and stir lightly. Add the garam masala powder and stir. Remove from heat and add the salt. Remove from the heat, garnish with the fresh coriander and serve hot with rotis.
