Preheat oven to 180 °C. Cream together butter and sugar till smooth and creamy. Break eggs and add and mix well.
Process double shots of espresso coffee in the coffee machine. Add prunes to the butter mixture and mix. Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder into the bowl and mix.
Add buttermilk and mix. Add coffee and mix well. Add almonds and vanilla essence and mix well. Pour the batter into a silicon cake mould upto ¾ full. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
Check for doneness. Let it cool and then demould, cut into slices and serve.
