Hailing from Amritsar, Chef Vikas Seth is a well-travelled chef, blessed with great taste buds. Studied at the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai. Vikas has also done advanced courses at the Culinary Institute of America, Greystone, St. Helena & Hyde Park, New York. He has attended the Mexican Boot camp at the Culinary Institute of America, San Antonio, Texas.
He has worked with several notable names in the industry before associating himself with dish hospitality. He recently won the Celebrity Chefs Mystery Basket Cookery Contest held at the 12th edition of prestigious Upper Crust Food and Wine Show in December 2014. Chef Vikas was also one of the Super Chefs on the Cooking Reality Show 'Sanjeev Kapoor ke Kitchen Khiladi’ telecasted on Sony TV.
Vikas also host contemporary Indian cuisine based sit down meals for special events. He uses his knowledge of global cuisines and upbringing in Amritsar, as his inspiration for developing modern North Indian cuisine. He has also authored a book for private circulation called ‘The Modern Indian Odyssey”, showcasing his take on Indian food in present times.
He loves to share his passion for food by conducting Master Classes at events like the famous Kala Ghoda Festival, the Great Indian Food Show, Celebrate Bandra, etc.
Chef Vikas believes in fresh natural food and organizing authentic ingredients from source. His pleasant nature and affinity for fine food preparation help him run a cheerful kitchen!
